An evil force named Ligar has taken over the land of Argool, ruling it with a deadly iron fist! You take the role of the mighty Rygar, a warrior resurrected from his grave to launch the attack on the evil Ligar to save Argool from doom! Armed with your incredible Diskarmor weapon and a variety of others too you must fight through the stages to wipe out the evil forces and save the lands from being consumed by deadly rage!
